As a relief to a very busy start to the Season P&B decided to take themselves Go-Karting!

17 of the most competitive people on the planet and Ellie the most environmentally friendly driver in the world put on their overalls and helmets to hit the track for a 1-hour endurance race Le Mann’s stylee...

Ricky the new recruit was black flagged on the practice lap only to crash in the pit-lane and that was even before the race began!

The race started with Team Superman (Tom aka Elvis and Garyoo) on pole position.5 4 3 2 1… and a very bumpy First lap as the 9 teams tried to take advantage on the tight bends breaking later and later.

After a bit of an incident on one of the bends Salty was caught up on Claire’s wheels the Marshall’s dragged them off, a few signs of no bumping! Steve Hall jumped into the driving seat and put in the fastest lap time. Team Superman was still in the lead. Elvis weaved round a few of the other teams pushing hard on corner, the front left hand wheel flew off! The yellow flag was up. A quick change of kart s and the race was resumed.

Team Superman were the eventual winner Team The Stick (Alan) and The Twig (Peter) finished 2nd with Team Jack & Stewart 3rd Salty got a certificate for Crazy Driving (the reason he doesn’t helm) and Ellie for being economical.

All in all a great night enjoyed by everybody!
