Steve, owner of Steve White Rigging, shares years of experience in this day long course. He will cover preparing your vessel for leaving, maintenance and repairs. As well, he will take an in-depth look at standing and running rigging and winches. This will include a discussion on rigging options and applications.

Steve has been on the coast sailing, inspecting, recommending and installing rigging for 40 years. His easy manner and deep experience will make this an informative course that gives you the breathing room to ask questions and delve into detail.

During this day long course, Steve will cover how to prepare for a long cruise including, inspections (what to look for and how to be proactive), upgrades needed to ensure smooth sailing, and repair supplies that are essential to handle the unexpected.

He will also address maintenance on your rigging including furling, standing and running rigging, as well as winches. Though we all try to prevent the unexpected, Steve will also guide you in repair techniques on the fly.
