A few weeks ago I spoke to Hannah Mills, Olympian and eco-crusader whose initiative Big Plastic Pledge aims to eradicate single use plastic in sport.
Recorded a few weeks before the impact of COVID-19 on all our lives, Hannah was anticipating the Tokyo Olympics and speaking passionately about her eco-crusade to clean up our oceans. Through the Big Plastic Pledge she's hoping to inspire sailors and Watersports enthusiasts to lead the way, taking a pledge to stop single use plastic, whether it's refusing plastic straws, or lobbying events to provide sustainable alternatives to single use plastic bottles.
