The global growth and success of Aquila Power Catamarans continue with a celebration of the launching of its one-hundredth 44-foot (13.4-meter) luxury power catamaran.

Lex Raas, Head of Aquila Product Development, comments, "global distribution has been key to the rapid growth of the Aquila 44. You can see 44's in over 20 countries around the globe, including a sizeable charter presence with MarineMax Vacations in the British Virgin Islands. The one-hundredth hull will head to Hong Kong to meet its new family."

The Aquila 44 boasts signature features like bridge-to-bow access, panoramic salon windows, open-air galley, and luxurious full-beam master cabin. The integrated Volvo diesel V-drive powerplant is reliable and economical. Furthermore, the use of hull coring materials, vinyl ester resins, resin infusion molding, and relentless attention to detail delivers a quality standard for Aquila Owners to be proud. All unique features are also key reasons for the success of the Aquila 44.

Reaching the milestone of 100-units in any given model, by any manufacturers, is noteworthy. To do it with a unique product in a very narrow market segment makes it even more remarkable. This level of success emboldens Aquila to move even more quickly to develop and bring to market the exciting new models currently in the works, including Aquila 54' and 70' luxury power catamarans. Both models are well on their way to reaching the market later this year. Hulls one and two for each model are already on the factory floor and undergoing the assembly and validation process.

Aquila is committed to continuing to set the pace and deliver on their promise of innovation, quality, and performance as the leading global manufacturer of luxury power catamarans.
