Platu Thai Nationals 2021

This year’s Platu Thai Nationals will consist of four weekend regattas, three best regatta results to count.

Round 1 27/28 February Round 2 8/9 May Round 3 10/11 July Round 4 9/10 October

By popular demand, each Championship regatta will be a two-day event over a weekend, using short windward/leeward courses aimed at 30 minutes per race. This allows 10 or more races to be run per event. No drop scores, and the last race of each regatta is for double points to make sure competition will be close and exciting until the very last race.

We are cutting out all the non-essential "frills" in order to reduce entry and crew costs to an absolute minimum: just THB400 per crew. However, this will in no way reduce the "thrills" element of the on-water racing format. We aim to continue to provide some of the most exciting and competitive One Design racing in Asia.

Charter boats will be available for only THB10,000 per event, thanks to the generous assistance of some Platu owners. Many thanks also to Scott Finsten and the Ocean Marina Yacht Club for continuing their invaluable "on water" support.
