Military veteran sailing team returns to Figawi Race

The Westport Group, a veteran-owned business, is once again sailing in support of America's Warrior Partnership (AWP) for the second year at the 50th Annual Figawi Race happening over Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31, 2021.
The event, held off the coast of Hyannis, attracts crews from all over the country to benefit nonprofit organizations, with a focus on military veterans, first responders, youth sports, and the local marine environment.
"We appreciate the continued support of The Westport Group and having them compete at the Figawi Race on behalf of America's Warrior Partnership," stated Jim Lorraine, President and CEO of America's Warrior Partnership. "We are thrilled that the event is focused on supporting military veterans, and honored to once again be a part of The Defiance crew."
