420 training at Pwllheli ahead of the Youth Nationals

by GBR 420 Association 31 Jul 2021 11:52 BST

With the GB Worlds competitors in quarantine following their return from Italy, fifteen 420s assembled in Pwllheli for some pre Youth Nationals training over five days, ending in a coached racing series.

See what happened in Jonny McGovern's video...

Thinking of stepping out of a Junior class and making your next step?

The 420 has sailors coming into it from across the Junior classes. There is transitional activity at the Optimist and Tera Nationals coming up, plus further open and transition training at Poole during August.

Experienced junior sailors can quite quickly get to grips with the 420 and get round the course in a lot of wind. What are you waiting for?

Here is a link to our calendar with dates for both 2021 and 2022 included: gbr420.uk/events/events-calendar

Next stop is the Youth Nationals in Plymouth with 43 boats paid up to be on the starting line!
