All racing scheduled for the Tokyo2020 Olympic Regatta was cancelled due to light winds. Organisers expected a front to pass through the race area, which did not eventuate, however it appears to have done so overnight.
On the way to the sailing venue in our quarantine bus, we could see the streets were slightly wet, and what wind there was had changed direction. It is hot, humid, sticky and with what we hope is building breeze.
Today there will be four medal races sailed - the 49er, 49erFX, Finn and Nacra 16, plus the two races scheduled in the 470 Mens and Womens.
The revised schedule is:
12:00 470 Women on the Zushi course
12:10 470 Men on the Zushi course
12:30 49erFX - Medal Race on the Enoshima course
13:30 49er - Medal Race on the Enoshima course
14:30 Finn - Medal Race on the Enoshima course
15:30 Nacra 17 - Medal Race on the Enoshima course
