WASZP America's Championships - Charter boats available

by Marc Ablett 2 Dec 2021 17:05 GMT March 16-20, 2022

Our USA agent Clay Johnson of Colie Sail and our Canadian agent Trevor Parekh are supplying 15 Charter boats to assist in making the America's Championships an incredible event.

This is particularly good news for our International sailors craving another major event in 2022. We encourage anyone from around the world to get involved in what will be a very special week in San Francisco.

The fee is $US2,000 for the event with sailors taking possesion of the boat the day prior to the event starting. We only require a non-refundable $US300 deposit to lock a slot in for you. The boats are brand new and put together at the Colie Sail factory with everything available ready to go for the event!

Please contact Clay or Trevor for more information:

Entry is now open for the inaugural America's Championships. From March 16th - 20th 2022, the waters off San Francisco and Richmond Yacht Club will come to life with over 60 WASZPs expected to attend from USA, Canada, South America, Hawaii and further abroad. We are already nearing 30 entries, so make sure you get involved and don't miss out!

The event provides a bucket list opportunity and will be conducted 1 week prior to the SailGP Grand Final in San Francisco, giving the opportunity for our WASZP fleet to get up close and personal with the circuit and enjoy the spectacle! So make a holiday out of it, stay on and enjoy the best show on water as the F50s rip up in San Francisco.

You can ENTER NOW & PAY LATER through Racehub >>> racehub.waszp.com/eventdetail/62

WASZP alongside Colie Sail and the USA WASZP Class Association has set aside some funds to help subsidize the shipping costs for your boat. This is a gold standard service that has become synonymous with WASZP events over the years. If you're thinking about attending or if you'd like a little help to get there, please email expressing interest. Each request will be taken on a case by case basis, but we will do what we can to help get you on the starting line. Emails are due by December 15th, and we will follow up with you after that.
