Whilst the Nacra 15 class prepares for a busy weekend at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show, a four-event National Series is announced for the RYA Youth Multihull class, with events ranging from long-distance racing to inland venues!

GP1: East Coast Piers Race

Hosted by Marconi SC in Essex, the Nacra 15 fleet will take part in the iconic East Coast Piers Race weekend, including a day of 'round-the-cans' handicap racing, as well as the 29 mile 'Colne Point' long-distance race! This offers an exciting challenge for the next generation of high-performance sailors, making the most of the world-class safety support and incredible onshore atmosphere to offer a unique opportunity amongst any of the RYA youth classes!

GP2: Weston Catamaran Open

The venue of the 2019 and 2021 Nacra 15 National Championships, the class will return to race on Southampton Water, with Weston SC having always provided close racing and great conditions alongside a wide range of catamaran classes!

GP3 & National Championships: Brightlingsea CatFest

Returning to Brightlingsea for the first time since 2018, our 2022 Nacra 15 National Championships will take place at the spiritual home of catamaran sailing in the UK! The open water on the east coast provides great racing, ideal to decide the National Championship title!

GP4 & Inland Championships: Grafham Catamaran Open

Inland racing makes up a huge part of the dinghy racing scene in the UK, recognised by the UK Nacra 15 class as we head to Grafham Water SC for their annual catamaran open! Prepare for some top speeds as the Nacra 15 fleet battles on the flat inland waters in the heart of Cambridgeshire!

Beyond the UK

The UK National Series will be complemented by an exciting international calendar, including European Championships in Carnac (FRA), World Championships confirmed for 2022 in Lake Garda (ITA) and 2023 in Fort Lauderdale (USA), as well as a wide range of other easily accessible international regattas in nations such as The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany!

Make sure to visit the UK Nacra 15 Class Association on the Nacra UK stand (B30) at this weekend's RYA Dinghy Show to find out how to get involved in the most exciting youth class, and to speak with some of our sailors, parents, coaches and representatives from Nacra Sailing!
