Vaikobi, has teamed up with the UK Cadet Class Association as part of its ongoing sponsorship program that supports sailing at all levels. Vaikobi is a unique brand, that is owned and run by people that are passionate about the water and ocean sports.
The UK Cadet Class hosts some great events and supports sailors at all levels in the UK and at international venues around the world. In this their 75th anniversary year the UK Cadet Class will be hosting the European Championships at Royal Torbay Yacht Club this summer. They put together a competitive selection process for the World Championships each season which this year will be in Vaikobi's home market of Melbourne, Australia. Vaikobi will be supporting the GBR Cadet team with branded kit for that event as well.
International Sales & Marketing Manager for Vaikobi, Bryan Stewart, commented:
"We are stoked to be working with the Cadet Class to support their brilliant events, the fun and engaging approach to junior sailing and let the sailors try for themselves the great range of kit and the Vaikobi difference. We love working with the best classes, and we are thrilled to be working with one of the leading associations in the UK and around the world in the iconic Cadet class, to support junior sailing as a whole."
Sarah Northey, UK Cadet Class Chairman said:
"From the first moment we met Bryan and Vaikobi we were convinced that a partnership with them would be great for both the Cadet Class and for Vaikobi. It's really important for young sailors to have high quality technical equipment which allows them to perform at the top of their potential. The Vaikobi youth range has some great products which fit the bill - I bought my first pair of their High Cut Performance Boots at the dinghy show - and it's great to announce this sponsorship agreement at the start of what promises to be a really exciting season in 2022. We will have some great products to award as prizes and with such great products in their range I'm look forwards to seeing many of our young sailors wearing their kit in the future."
