REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS
If you intend joining the regatta, but have not yet registered online, then please do so soon, as we are finalising plans for food and seating at prize venues, plus ferry boats and berthing, and need to know how many boats and people will be participating. Early Bird Discount ends at midnight on 30th September, after which it's normal rates... so make payments now and save money!
FUEL EN ROUTE
Fuel (diesel) is NOT available at RLYC, Langkawi. There is however a fuel barge in Kuah harbour as well as a fuel dock at Telaga.
Pangkor and Penang have very limited fuel (diesel or petrol) supply (cans) and need advance booking to ensure delivery. Anyone anticipating such a requirement please send an email to support@rmsir.com with boat name and requirements so we can quote and set up delivery.
CARGO - LAST CALL
There will be NO baggage handling this year - we will not, for Health and Safety reasons, be providing the stopover-to-stopover transfer of personal luggage, so travel light, as you will need to carry all personal gear on board.
END TO END BAGGAGE - LAST CALL
In the past some boats have wanted to move their delivery sails, tender, outboard, empty fuel cans and any personal bags ‘not needed on voyage’ direct from RSYC to RLYC. We are looking at providing this service (departs RSYC Friday 18th evening and can be collected upon your arrival at RLYC) ONLY if there are sufficient takers. So far nobody has sent us an email to cargo@rmsir.com to tell us they wish to use it. If we have insufficient takers by 15th October we will not be providing the service as it involves land and ferry services that need to be booked well in advance. So please let us know now.
IRC CERTIFICATES
Finally a reminder to please update your IRC certificates soon as there are only limited facilities to do revaluations at RSYC just before the regatta, and slots will need to be booked in advance. email IRC : info@irc-sea.com
