Following the B14 World Council meeting on Thursday 13th October the venue & timings for the 2023 B14 European and World Championships have been agreed, Lake Garda at Circolo Vela Torbole, 12th - 22nd July 2023.

We have been approached by the Musto Skiffs to see if they can share the dates with us and this has been agreed in principle with the sailing club. They have asked to sail in a different area to us, so as not to impinge on each other's sailing, but with a possible 40-60 additional boats, we will be able to secure the full facilities of the club and keep costs down where possible.

The Australian B14s are hoping for 9-12 boats and will, if needed, share containers with the Aussie Musto fleet.

I am cautiously optimistic that we can get upwards of 25 boats from across Europe as we now have boats in Italy, France, Germany, Holland. The more the merrier.

Just in case any of you were in any doubt as to why Garda is considered to be worth the trip, thanks to Simon at VR TV for permission to use this video:

Can I take a moment to thank Rob Taylor for a huge amount of work behind the scenes to get this under way and dates agreed in what has been the trickiest of tricky times in the last 2 years!
