2023 promises to be another great year for the RS500s, with the Nationals at the Salcombe Gin Summer Regatta and a mix of other events at clubs with home fleets of RS500.

We've got the tried and trusted favourites that the RS500 sailors have asked for including the RS Sprints at Rutland SC and Lymington Dinghy Regatta, plus we'll be supporting sailors' development with a 2-day Rooster National Tour Race and Train at Bristol Corinthian.

The 2023 Rooster National Tour:

  • RS Sprints, Rutland, 22/23 April
The traditional season opener, short, sharp races to wake you up for the season ahead.

  • Race & Train, Bristol Corinthian, 3/4 June
An opportunity for all RS500 sailors to improve skills, whether new to the boat or established in the class.

  • Noble Marine National Championships - Salcombe Gin RS Summer Regatta & Ball, Hayling Island, 23-25 June
A 3-day Nationals, with RS500s racing alongside RS200 Masters on day 1, followed by 2 days of the regtta with most of the other 'Noughty' fleets.

  • Lymington Dinghy Regatta, 12/13 August
One of the RS500 fleet's favourite places, and always a great event.

  • RS End of Seasons Regatta, Rutland, 4/5 November
Once again the Rooster National Tour concludes at the End of Seasons, with good racing, a hearty supper and the Rooster National tour prize-giving.
We look forward to welcoming RS500 sailors old and new, the best way to improve your sailing is to come along for some class racing and some tips and advice from the top sailors.

All the dates are on the calendar here, here's to 2023!
