Participants of the upcoming 75th annual Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race - skippers and crew - are encouraged to attend at least one of these informative events that focus on safety, preparation, and racing strategy.
Respected SoCal sailor Bruce Cooper from Ullman Sails Newport Beach, his San Diego colleague Chuck Skewes, and Phil Herzfeld will present the updated program. These sailors offer years of race-winning know-how and insights that will help racers be prepared, to sail better and bring home more hardware. The content is particularly helpful for newcomers to the race, those who rarely sail overnight, or south to Mexico.
Topics also include sail-change strategies and best practices for overnight crew management, and even how to enter the Storm Trysail Club Team Racing competition.
