To be held from 30th July to 6th August in the Bay of Palma, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma, this year the Copa del Rey MAPFRE is celebrating a particularly special event with their 75th anniversary.

The official publication today of the Notice of Race is always a significant first step with the opening of the registration period for the participating teams; this year divided into ten classes, one of which is all female, six classes in the division of handicap/compensated time and four classes for one design/real time.

Besides the activities of the social agenda, the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, will also be strengthening their initiatives for sustainability on land as well as at sea, following the project begun in the previous edition.

Moreover, the regatta is also further encouraging female participation in all the classes, both voluntarily but also for the fourth consecutive year with an all-women class which will enable an increase of up to 80% of women in the sailing event, ensuring a protagonist role for one of the winning teams in the Copa del Rey MAPFRE.
