Suzuki is once again proud to be the headline sponsor of the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show, which takes place on the 25 & 26 February at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre.
Joining them on Sunday 26 February at 3pm, will be Matt Gotrel MBE from INEOS Britannia. Suzuki is the official supplier of outboards for INEOS Britannia's chase boats and the Olympic Gold Medalist will be on stand B14 with Suzuki to meet and greet fans as well as chat about his role as a cyclor in his second successive America's Cup campaign.
Through its long-term association with the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show, Suzuki has positioned itself as the go to outboard motor manufacturer for high performance chase boats as well as sailing club safety boat packages.
The award-winning outboard motor manufacturer has forged a reputation for building marine engines that push the boundaries of innovation, with some of the lightest, most compact models in their class making them perfect for use by sailing clubs. Uniquely, the engines used to power its range of outboards have always been designed specifically for the rigours of marine use, which means that they all deliver quiet, fuel-efficient operation without sacrificing on performance.
Suzuki's display at this year's show will include a number of different safety boat packages from leading boat builders such as XS RIBs and Rigiflex Boats. Elsewhere in the show there will also be Suzuki-powered safety boat packages from boat brands such as Ribcraft and Humber.
There will also be the chance to win a Suzuki DF2.5S portable outboard at the show. The DF2.5 is an ideal auxiliary power unit for cruising dinghies or small inflatables and tenders. This lightweight compact outboard is well-designed and easy to operate, so you can rest easy and focus on having fun on the water.
Available in both long and short-shaft lengths, it features neutral and forward shifting, along with 360-degree steering for full thrust in all directions and easy manoeuvrability. It is also water cooled, meaning that it is extremely quiet and fuel efficient.
To be in with a chance of winning a short-shaft model show visitors will need to pick up an entry form from the Suzuki stand and answer a simple question.
Mark Beeley, Head of ATV & Marine for Suzuki GB said, "We're committed to working with our partner boat builders to provide the ultimate safety boat packages for sailing clubs and training centres to help them increase participation in all forms of watersports. For this same reason, we are also proud to support the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show and look forward to seeing everyone there."
