International Women's Day Celebration at Barton Marine © Barton Marine

On Wednesday the fantastic team of Barton women got together to celebrate International Women's Day. They work across the company in leadership, sales, finance and manufacturing, and without their dedication and hard work, Barton Marine would be a very different place!

At Barton we know that across the Marine Industry we need to do more to support Women achieve their goals. This is true both on the water sailing and throughout the business of boating. Great work has been done already, but the task is large.

Barton Marine is an industry leader for supporting Women in Marine events and activities since 2014. These events provide women with a network and opportunity to meet others in the marine trades. 2023 is no different with CEO Suzanne Blaustone on the organising committees for events at Southampton Boat Show and Metstrade.

New for 2023, BartonUS COO, John Navarro, will attend the US National Women's Sailing Association Conference on June 3rd in Newport RI. Barton is sponsoring all the equipment for the conference to help provide great training sessions that improve sailing skills and knowledge. The National US Women's Sailing Association's goal is to enrich the lives of women of all ages through education and access to the sport of sailing, and Barton is proud and excited to be a sponsor of this event.

It was great to get together on International Women's Day 2023 to salute our wonderful team and all women involved in sailing and marine trades around the world.
