The second day arrived with too light wind. The expected perturbation on Thursday brought compact cloudiness to Garda Trentino, which blocked the increase in the southerly wind, which usually had arrived punctually at lunchtime, so much so that all the fleets on the two race courses were out.
In fact, after the start of the Techno Plus category, the wind dropped so much so that the FIV Race Committee was forced to give a course reduction for the racing fleet.
Despite the wait that lasted until late afternoon, the wind did not return and so the day ended with only the Plus regatta and nothing for the other categories.
Despite the early start of today's race, the Greek Alexandros Kokkinakis remains in the lead, ahead of the Cypriot Charalambous and the other Greek Panagopoulos. Excellent first of the day for the Ligurian Davide Enrico (YC Italiano Genova, fifth overall) and a second for the Sardinian Manuel Cillano (Palau, Sporting Club Sardinia). The first three women's positions remained unchanged with Poland's Falkiewicz in the lead, closely followed by Angelina Medde and Veronica Poledrini.
It is worth mentioning that after the first three races on Tuesday among the under-13 men's team with a 7-3-2 is in third place the Circolo Surf Torbole's Luis Burkhart.
For Thursday the weather is not very comforting: the rain after months of drought seems to arrive really and abundantly; it will have to be seen if the wind will also arrive, which is necessary to hold more regattas. In any case, at Circolo Surf Torbole the entire staff together with the International Techno Class Team, the FIV Race Officials and the International Jury are ready to take advantage of every good moment to let the more than 270 youngsters compete in the long-awaited regattas for the continental titles in all categories.
