by Prensa Sailing Comunicación 28 Jan 21:14 GMT 24-28 January 2024

The XIV Euromarina Optimist Torrevieja closes another chapter and does so with the new champions after a spectacular fourth day, with good wind conditions and four races completed today. The absolute podium has had Catalonia as the main and only protagonist with two representatives of the CN Cambrils: Iker Múgica, champion, and Joan Domingo, bronze, while the silver went to Juan Lleonart, CN Balis.

Múgica is going strong in the Optimist and in Torrevieja has demonstrated it again. Two partial wins stand out in his locker, while the 'mole' has it in the last of the day with DNC (110 points), partial that was to be removed. Domingo says goodbye to the torrevejense appointment with 20 points, to 9 of his clubmate. The Catalan sealed a triumph, the only one in his locker, in the day of Saturday
