You will also see the outstanding winning entry of the Barton Dinghy Photography Competition and expert Barton team members will be on hand to answer all questions about dinghy gear and getting your boat in top condition for 2024.

Be sure to attend at 2pm on Saturday 24th February when the 2024 Barton Rising Star will be revealed live on the stand. Find out what it means to be the Rising Star and learn about the full schedule of sailing plans for the year ahead.

"We are excited to introduce the sailing community to a truly dedicated, inspirational young sailor and Olympic hopeful. To be able to assist their journey to achieve their sailing dreams is great. The 2023 Dinghy Photography Competition winner will also be announced at the launch and all the best images will be on display." Suzanne Blaustone, Barton Marine CEO.

The strikingly colourful and near weightless Carbon Fibre Tiller Extension range introduced for 2024 will be available at the show. This new and enhanced range brings a high-performance technical specification together with brilliant aesthetics to cause envy in the boat park. Available in three lengths (975mm, 1250mm and 2500mm), they weigh from 200g, while maintaining enormous strength and rigidity for precision helming.

Durability goes a step further with a unique grip bonded into the full carbon fibre shaft length for maximum life span and a universal joint makes for easy installation. They are Laser and ILCA class legal, as well as being ideal for Scorpion, RS Aero, Blaze, National 12, Hadron H2, Musto Skiff, 49ers, Topper and almost every other dinghy class.

Tuphblox, Barton's new range of Tufnol® blocks will also be presented, which are ideal for classic dinghy sailors, alongside the new outboard motor lifting sling. The sling makes it easy and secure for sailing clubs to lift and hold valuable engines up to 15hp, while performing maintenance or change overs. Other recent introductions are on interactive display include the Windicator and SkyDock.

The new branded product group, BartonRace, features the Barton range of high-performance low friction ball bearing blocks, high-tech equipment and accessories for dinghy and cruising sailors. Bright red packaging highlights the high-performance range desired by today's mariners. BartonRace is available to purchase and take away from the stand assisted by the sales team at Hartley Boats.

Barton team members will also be running the fun and challenging Beat the Barton Block Clock competition on the stand. Bring your friends and compete against each other to see who has the nimblest fingers and can fully assemble a Barton block from its component parts into a seaworthy product. The fastest contender each day wins a prize.

The Barton Marine stand (Q20) is not to be missed, bringing a dinghy gear extravaganza to the RYA Dinghy Show 2024. The RYA Dinghy Show runs across the weekend of the 24th and 25th February at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre.
