New for season 2024 is the sleek VXI Pro vest from Vaikobi, designed to provide impact protection where needed as well as an ergonomic fit that makes you forget you are even wearing it.
The VXI Pro vest joins the large portfolio of PFDs in the Vaikobi collection and fills a need for an impact capable, Neoprene vest for action watersports. As with all Vaikobi watersports apparel, this new vest has been designed and tested alongside professional athletes.
Importantly, the VXI Pro vest is certified to ISO 12402-5 standards which makes it perfect for all racing requiring the use of a 50N ISO certified PFD.
The VXI has a low profile design which eliminates the vest from catching on anything on the front and back. It is also packed with features such as a hydration bladder pocket on the back, internal guides for bladder hoses, pocket on front for storage, and also a loop to connect with a harness for those that need it.
Vaikobi CEO Pat Langley comments that "The VXI Pro vest has been a long time coming, and we are stoked with the finished product which really feels amazing to wear. We wanted to maximise features but keep the design as minimal as possible whilst also ensuring the vest could be a certified PFD".
