The 2024 Triple Crown Series is expanding to 5 events, significantly increasing domestic competitive training opportunities and prize grants for athletes.

The expanded series, jointly hosted by Oakcliff, Windmark Foundation, and Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club, invites ILCA 6, ILCA 7, 49er, 49erFX, 470, and Nacra 17 sailors to compete in Oyster Bay and The Great South Bay, Long Island this summer. Up to $450,000 in prize grants will be awarded.

Since 2017 Oakcliff has provided $1.2 million in prize grants directly to Olympic hopefuls. Public Donations to the Triple Crown fund are welcomed and encouraged and provide need-based training scholarships for young sailors with Olympic dreams.

The Triple Crown system requires athletes to show up and perform. Training camps before and after encourage team collaboration and learning; the schedule of 5 races a day pushes the limits. Grants are able to be used only for items which are mission critical in an athlete's road to success.

"With a strong history of Olympic success, Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club is excited to join in this revolutionary effort," stated Commodore Robert Fagiola. "We are hoping our collective efforts will see America once again on the podium at the 2028 LA Games."

Seamlessly integrated into the Triple Crown series are three High Performance Training Camps, providing an unparalleled platform for sailors to share resources and knowledge across classes and fleets. Oyster Bay will be the premier high performance training location in America this summer.

2024 Triple Crown Series schedule:

Stage 1: June 14-16
Stage 2: July 3-6
Stage 3: July 24-27
Stage 4: August 16-18
Stage 5: August 28-31

2024 High Performance Camp schedule:

High Performance 1: June 4-12
ILCA Camp: August 12-15
High Performance 2: August 19-26
