For the first time in over 20 years, the RS600s are heading out to Garda. We've seen some new faces sign themselves up as well as a number of legends who have decided they need to get themselves back into the 600 for one last blast.

With 15 boats entered, there are plenty of sailors who might grab themselves a race win but who will take the EuroCup title?

Here are our Runners and Riders:

George Smith - current and 3 time national champion, so definitely knows his way around the boat. Known to be quick in the windy stuff which Riva is of course well known for so expect him to be up at the front.

Jamie Mawson - An ex national champion himself and 2nd in the last few nationals. Was only a point from winning last year's so will definitely be up the front. Jamie is known for being rapid in the light stuff, but still pretty quick in the heavy stuff. After winning 3 of the 4 races at the 30th regatta, he's definitely one to watch!

Ian Marshall - also an ex national champion and seen it all with the 600, his wealth of experience will see him at the top of the fleet most of the week, especially if the wind is on the lighter side.

Richard Smith - recently got back into the class after hearing about Garda. Has won the nationals before and known to be quick. Can he remember how it all works after a few years out of the boat? Has he done his routine boat maintenance or is he hoping nothing breaks?

Paul Bayliss - 600 legend with multiple national titles to his name. Been a while since he stepped foot in a 600 though. Does he still have what it takes?

Ian Jubb - the actual legend for taking most of the boats there in the first place but renowned for being super quick, to the bar at least! He's been out of the boat for a few years. Will he remember how it all works?
