Today - in case it is not in your diary - is World Boating Day. This is an international open event, where companies within the leisure boating sectors will open their doors in a variety of formats over the course of two action-packed days.

Organisations from all corners of the globe will unlock their doors to foster worldwide accessibility to leisure boating’s unique experiences and offer an intimate glimpse of life onboard.

Companies, organisations, and institutes in the leisure boating, (super)yachting and water sports industries are opening their doors and organising local, in-person, and online events to increase engagement and positive connections.

Individuals, media, and students are invited to attend local open days to become immersed in the vibrant world of these unique maritime sectors, gaining insights from the pioneering companies and individuals at the forefront.

Meanwhile, to celebrate World Boating Day in our own small way, Sail-World Asia presents a selection of images of 'serious' boating in 2024, and will indeed be going sailing today!
