The Yacht Racing Forum 2024 will conclude an intense sailing season
America's Cup, Vendée Globe, Olympic Games... Not forgetting the Transat CIC, New-York - Vendée, SailGP, the Solitaire du Figaro or Arkea Ultim Challenge: the sports' leading events are coming one after the other and 2024 is shaping up to be a memorable year. Scheduled to take place alongside METSTRADE Amsterdam from 20 to 22 November, the Yacht Racing Forum will be a unique opportunity to look back on these events, draw conclusions from them and meet the key players in the world of competitive sailing in an informative and informal setting conducive to networking and business.
The programme for the 2024 edition includes a number of new features.
The conference will begin on Wednesday afternoon, allowing all participants to visit both METSTRADE and the Yacht Racing Forum.
On Thursday morning, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive guided tour of METSTRADE (see below). The conferences will resume on Thursday afternoon and finish on Friday after lunch, allowing all participants to head home for the weekend.
The social programme promises to be equally busy, with daily evening receptions, coffee breaks and convivial lunches providing plenty of opportunities to network and benefit from the presence of the major players in the sailing and yacht racing industry.

The hottest topics of the moment

YRF 2024 will cover the hottest topics of the moment. The conference will look back at the major competitions of the year, and will address more specific themes such as the contribution of artificial intelligence to competitive sailing, new construction processes that are more respectful of the environment, the recycling of racing yachts and sails, and the most cutting-edge technologies of the moment. The conference will also discuss inclusivity, marketing and communication, and will present the most innovative event organisation methodologies.
The Design & Technology Symposium will be aimed at an audience with a particular interest in racing yachts and equipment technology, design and construction. It will look at the achievements of the America's Cup and the latest developments in the IMOCA and Ultim classes, as well as examining how the latest technologies are being applied to mainstream sailing and regattas.
