On the occasion of the third edition of the Yard Open Days at BTC, Nautor Swan's facility in Pietarsaari, the brand presents the launches of two brand new models: the Swan 88 - hull no. 1, with hybrid propulsion in cooperation with Torqeedo, Swan 88 hull no. 2 with impressive performance upgrades; the ClubSwan 43, ready to participate to the upcoming events, the 'pocket rocket' ClubSwan 28 and other exciting projects under construction including the flagship Swan 128, the Swan 80 and the Swan 51 - latest addition to the Swan range.
Giovanni Pomati, CEO of Nautor Group, gives an overview of the company, stating: "June always marks a special moment here at the yard. With an active order portfolio over 150 Mln Euro, we are going to deliver 30 yachts by October, 15 of which have been already sailed away in the past few weeks to reach their home ports.
It is a very electrifying moment for us. Very intense and rewarding. We have launched three Maxis and four are under construction. We have 23 models in the range between sailing and power, six of which are brand new models, I don't think we could be more proud, excited and happy!"
Some of the new projects, announced during the last months hit the water and are ready to make their appearances at the upcoming international events.
The Swan 88, is designed as a gateway model into the world of Swan Maxi yachts, combining efficient management costs with simplified regulatory compliance and ease of obtaining charter certification.
The yacht involved the collaboration of Germàn Frers, Misa Poggi and Lucio Micheletti, and she has been launched with two consecutive units, one of which has a diesel electric propulsion, the Deep Blue System, developed in collaboration with Torqeedo.
The Swan 88 will make her début at the September boat shows: Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show.
The ClubSwan 43, AKA the Perfect Crossover designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, is a culmination of cutting-edge design, precision engineering, and extensive racing experience.
Whether you are competing in regattas or cruising offshore, the CS 43 delivers unrivalled performance and agility on the water. Moreover, the yacht has been developed as a One Design package, equipped with a standard One Design keel that can be optimised to compete on ORC circuits. The OD sail plan includes a powerful square-top mainsail allowing for an agile and precise performance.
The ClubSwan 43 is eagerly awaited to participate at the ORC World Championships 2024 in*.
The ClubSwan 28 is positioned as our entry model to ClubSwan's One Design events worldwide. Crafted by Juan Kouyoumdjian and crewed by four/five, this pure One Design vessel is engineered for simplicity without compromising performance, complemented by a carbon mast and no backstay.
Designed for optimal performance in varied conditions, particularly medium/light winds, the ClubSwan 28 is tailored for passionate sailors seeking close, high-performance racing in a user-friendly package. With a focus on smart, enjoyable, and swift sailing, this yacht is an accessible entry point into the racing realm.
Under construction, the yard is going full throttle with the brand new:
Swan 51 from the pen of German Frers for the exteriors and Misa Poggi for the interiors, she is available in four versions to meet customers' sailing needs - cruise, comfort, sport and the green&blue version. She is under construction at the BTC with the clear feeling she's going to be another of Swan's best-sellers. In fact the Swan 51 steps into the narrow space between the Swan 48 and Swan 55, and draws valuable design insights and experience from the great success of both those models.
The Swan 80, due to hit the water in June 2026, features an extended cockpit, versatile interior, and a streamlined coachroof. The flat aft cockpit allows flexible furnishings for different purposes, and twin rudders ensure stability. The yacht's construction combines foam cored glass and carbon fiber reinforcements for durability.
The Swan 128 with hull nos. one and two under construction, is Germàn Frers product number 1400 and perfectly embodies the concept of maxi sport cruiser, designed for long ocean voyages and international regattas. The team behind the design is once again the trio of Maestro Frers, with Misa Poggi and Lucio Micheletti, cooperating for another beautiful yacht with Swan signature.
"By looking at the status of the yard now and to the variety of the yachts built, I'd like to thank all the Nautor Team that made this possible, taking into account the complexity behind these projects and the ability and passion of everybody here to make this happen." Leonardo Ferragamo, Nautor Group Chairman commented. "This is a moment of incredible pride for us and perfectly illustrates why A Swan is A Swan".
