This year's J/Fest Seattle was hosted by the Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle on Puget Sound. A fun-loving group of J/sailors joined the action to sail in one-design fleets of J/24s, J/70s, and J/105s.

In addition, there was a J/PHRF fleet.

J/70 Class

In this hotly-contested class of ten boats, the finale was determined by a tiebreaker at eight pts each. Winning that countback was Herb Cole's WOODPILE over Mike Breviks's FRAM-96. Similarly, the balance of the podium was also determined by tiebreaker at 19 pts each. Winning that countback to take the bronze medal was Tolga Cezik's POYRAZ over David Fassio's SUGOI. Rounding out the top five was John Hoag's ORANGE with 21 pts.

J/24 Class

After an abbreviated three-race series, it was Paul Bogataj's ATOM ANT that took class honors with straight bullets. Second was Ryan Milne's HAIR OF THE DOG, while third position went to Mike Johnson's PEARL.

J/105 Class

After a six-race series, John Aitchison's MOOSE UNKNOWN from Canada won the class with four 1sts and a 2-4 for 6 pts net... a surprisingly dominating series not seen in a while by the Seattle J/105 fleet. The balance of the podium was a battle, with Jeff Pace's LIFTOFF taking the silver while Mike Cain's PANIC took the bronze medal.

J/PHRF Division

Winning the division was Ed Pinkham's J/109 JEOPARDY. Second went to Mike Darcy's J/27 ZEPHYR.
