A leadership change is taking place at Cantiere del Pardo, marking an important transition in the management of the renowned Italian brand. Marcello Veronesi, formerly Chief Strategy Officer, will take on the role of CEO, following the resignation of Fabio Planamente, who, along with Gigi Servidati, has successfully led Cantiere del Pardo since 2018.

Planamente's decision is based on personal reasons and comes at a time when, following the acquisition by the Oniverse Group, Cantiere del Pardo can rely on significant new management resources to ensure continuity of operations.

The role of CEO will now be filled by Marcello Veronesi, who will continue to work alongside long-standing partner Gigi Servidati, who will be assigned part of the responsibilities previously held by the outgoing CEO. This leadership transition has been made with the full agreement of all parties, with the intention of ensuring maximum operational and managerial continuity.

Planamente will remain a shareholder and a member of the company's Board of Directors, with the willingness to lend his experience to support the new CEO and the shipyard, where he has worked for over twenty years.

"After many years on the front lines managing this wonderful shipyard, which in recent years has achieved incredible success thanks to the work of everyone involved, I have decided to step down from my operational role to focus on personal projects. I will remain a shareholder and a member of the Board of Directors, and I am confident that, under the operational leadership of Gigi Servidati and Marcello Veronesi, the shipyard will continue its path of growth and consolidation. I want to thank all our collaborators and partners, who have always stood by us in overcoming the challenges we've faced during this long journey," stated Fabio Planamente.

Upon accepting the new role, Marcello Veronesi stated: "This appointment represents a great responsibility; the goal will be to continue the work done by Fabio and the entire CdP team over these years, and to strengthen it with greater integration into the Oniverse Group to face new challenges together. I am pleased to have found a highly skilled and equally motivated team. With these foundations, the future will bring us great satisfaction."

Gigi Servidati, long-time partner of Cantiere del Pardo and current Chairman of the Board, commented: "I understand Fabio's decision and thank him for the great work we have done together over the years. I am confident that Marcello Veronesi will provide continuity, while also bringing new energy and valuable ideas for the future of Cantiere del Pardo."
