EXTRA Yachts announces the sale of the first X100 Triplex unit to a European customer. This new model has just been presented to the market and has already received great acclaim. The customer was introduced by Aberton Yachts.

X100 Triplex features large interior and exterior spaces, comfort, on-board liveability, low consumption and long-range cruising.

Studio Agon designed the exterior lines, Laura Brocchini Design penned the interiors, while the Shipyard is responsible for the naval engineering.

Hull and superstructure are in composite with carbon reinforcements, the length of the hull is 30 metres, and the 8.1-metre maximum beam provides the internal volumes typical of boats over 40 metres with a gross tonnage of about 260 GT.

The large opening floor-to-ceiling windows, both on the main and on the upper deck, increase the exposure to the outdoor and fosters the positive feeling of engagement and direct interaction with marine nature.

The Owner cabin is enriched with large side windows that, in the extreme forward end, retract and, thanks to a recess in the hull, allow the Owner to enjoy the view to the bow in addition to the sides.

The aft cockpit has been designed on two levels. The first one closer to the beach, has a large sundeck, and the second one houses an informal lounge. The backrest of the sun-lounger can be used as a seat facing who's in the lounge, to create a stronger link between the two areas. The folding side terraces add to the "scenography" and the "infinity" effect specific of this area of the boat.

The stairway to access the upper deck is in the middle of the cockpit, pushed as far out of the boat as possible so as not to pose as an obstacle for the flows on board.

The upper deck has a lounge area furnished with freestanding furniture to provide the Owner with a wide choice of different solutions.

The sun deck has a large bar, sunbathing areas and a 10-seater dining table.

Among the several layout options proposed, the Owner opted for the pantry on the main deck and the galley on the upper deck.

The main deck features a spacious indoor lounge area and the master cabin towards the bow with access to the office, vanity, bathroom with double sink and separate toilet, and a large wardrobe.

Moving up to the upper deck, in addition to the wheelhouse and the galley, we find a lounge area with two armchairs, a coffee table and a formal 10-seater table.

Below deck there are four double cabins with private bathroom, two VIP with double bed, and two with twin beds.

The crew area, equipped with separate laundry, is located below deck and sleeps 5 crew members into 3 cabins.

The aft garage located under the sundeck, houses a tender of about 4 metres, two Seabobs and other minor accessories.

The X100 Triplex propulsion system can rely on two powerful MAN engines of 1550 hp each capable of pushing it up to a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. An optional version is also available with MAN engines of 1800 hp that guarantee a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
