The excitement in the Tasar sailing community is building as they prepare to have their European and World Championships 2025 in the renowned sailing haven of Lake Garda, Italy. They will be hosted by the Circolo Vela Arco sailing club; 14-15 July for the European Championships and 17-21 July for the Worlds. This will be the first time a Tasar regatta is organised on these famous waters, promising a thrilling experience for sailors and spectators alike.

Known for its reliable winds and breathtaking scenery, Lake Garda has long been a mecca for sailors around the globe. This event will serve as the perfect stage for some of the world's finest Tasar sailors to showcase their skills. It has already gathered significant international interest in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and other European nations.

"We are thrilled that we will be having the Tasar European and World Championships at Lake Garda for the first time," said the event organisers. "We will be using these regattas to celebrate the fact that Tasars have provided enormous pleasure to so many sailors over the past 50 years. Lake Garda's unique conditions and traditional sailing culture make it an ideal location for this special event. It will also be an opportunity to hone skills for the 2026 Worlds in Japan."

As the countdown to the championships begins, sailors from around the world are gearing up for what promises to be a week of intense competition, camaraderie, and celebration of the sport. If you are a seasoned competitor or you are new to the Tasar class, this is an event not to be missed.

Whether you're racing or cheering for the competitors, join us at Lake Garda this year as the Tasar fleet battles it out for European and World titles in one of the most breathtaking sailing venues in the world.
