Day Two of the iQFOiL Asian Championships and iQFOiL International Games brought a packed schedule of races across all fleets, after a challenging start on the opening day, yesterday.
Despite light and inconsistent winds early in the day, organizers and competitors made the most of the conditions, completing a significant number of races.
The morning began with uncertainty as the wind struggled to establish in either strength or direction, fluctuating between 3 and 14 knots with shifts of up to 50 degrees. Once conditions stabilized, the Senior Women and Men were off on the water. The women completed five races, while the men managed four. Athletes demonstrated impressive skill, navigating wind shifts and light wind zones with physical readiness and sharp anticipation.
In the afternoon, it was the turn of the Youth & Junior fleets, with all categories completing five races each. Although the wind had dropped slightly, the young sailors showed determination, adapting to the lighter breeze. To cap off a successful day, the Senior Men returned to the water for one final race, ensuring all fleets maximized their racing opportunities.

"I'm happy I had a relly good day", commented Angyal Chew. "I was quite happy that the wind came in so we managed to get five slalom races in and I managed to come in second for three of them so I'm really happy with it! The first race that I finished second I had a pretty decent start and then and then on the downwind leg I jibed early so I got the gust and I got lucky. I just hope to do my best in the upcoming days, don't get too excited and we'll see how it goes!"
