Cruise Craft Launches ALL NEW E770HT by Streaker Marine

On Tuesday the 26th of November, Tyrone Mahoney and Sean Savage from our sales team, headed up to the Cruise Craft boats factory for a dealer conference, launch party of the new E770HT, with on water trials the following day.

“We new from the CAD drawings and knowing what Cruise Craft is capable of that this new model was going to be special, but it has seriously blown us away and gone well beyond our wildest expectations”, Sean said.

It’s clear that Cruise Craft has seriously raised the bar this time, aiming for the ‘ultimate trailerboat’. It has more power than you’ll ever need with the Yamaha XF450hp V8, or twin F200’s and with 500ltrs of fuel it’s opened endless possibilities. You will need an American truck to two it though as full of fuel it’s just under 4,000kg on the trailer. Being Aussie built it is 2.5mtrs wide though so you don’t have to worry about overwidth signs and flashing lights.

“There are so many smart design tweaks with this boat, you can tell Cruise Craft has listened to their customers and spent a lot of time throughout the design and CAD phase”, Tyrone said. The offset to port door (instead of centralised) cabin door, allows for a HUGE dash for twin 16” Garmin screens with an offset 12” screen also. The sleek integrated bait station with HUGE 80 litre live well will make even the most experienced game fisherman weak at the knees with excitement.

“All boats have an element of compromise, but I really feel Cruise Craft has nailed it with the ratio of cockpit space verse cabin space. The cockpit has enough room for four to fish comfortably but there’s still heaps of room in the cabin for mass storage or for more comfort on those overnighters”, Tyrone said.

“The weather on the test day unfortunately was near perfect so the E770HT couldn’t be truly tested but all-round performance including hole shot, handling and economy was as good as we knew it would be. The true test will be when we get our demo E770HT offshore when it arrives at Streaker Marine in April of next year”, Sean said.
