Viking 82 Sky Bridge © Viking Yachts

The Viking 82 has been a huge hit. We've already delivered several open bridge models since the five-stateroom convertible debuted in June.

Now, behold the first Viking 82 Sky Bridge. If you appreciate the salon-like features of our enclosed bridge (EB) but also want the option to operate the boat from an open bridge, this is the yacht for you, offering the best of both worlds.

Exterior aesthetic enhancements include a teak cockpit and covering boards, along with a transom, bulkhead and toe rail featuring faux teak. Paired with a Flag Blue gelcoat, she's a certified head-turner. Access to the enclosed bridge is provided by a ladder from the mezzanine to the EB's aft deck (shown above) or a stainless steel staircase with walnut steps inside the salon (below).

The EB salon is appointed with a raised L-shaped lounge with a walnut table, a refrigerator/freezer an HDTV (below) and ample storage. Two double companion chairs flank the centerline helm chair.

An unobstructed one-piece windshield provides gin-clear visibility at the forward control station, which features a one-piece raised black wraparound electronics pod with an integrated visor holding five Multifunction Displays (MFDs).

The enclosed bridge aft deck is equipped with a port-side docking station with Palm Beach-style single lever controls and an MFD. A ladder leads to the sky bridge.

The elevated bridge's port-side console features a fully equipped helm with a recessed black acrylic panel for flush-mounted MFDs. Guests can enjoy the view from a forward L-shaped lounge (with storage underneath) and have easy access to a forward refrigerated drink box and sink.

We also offer the 82 with an enclosed bridge - with or without a custom Palm Beach Towers tuna tower. For more information about the 82 or any of our yachts, please contact your authorized Viking dealer.
