Over 50 boats are ready to take on the 2024 Petersville Regatta, kicking off tomorrow December 27. A staple in the Blairgowrie calendar, over 450 sailors are excited to kick off the summer with the iconic event.

Sailors hit the water tomorrow evening for the first race of the Petersville Regatta with all divisions competing in the Twilight race.

The regatta features four exciting days of racing, including passage races, short-course racing, and twilight racing.

The Channel Race down to Portsea has become one of the more notable races of the regatta.

Vice Commodore Georgina Plumridge welcomes families and friends to come down to the club and enjoy the various hospitality options and great entertainment for the kids.

"Blairgowrie's marina has become known as Victoria's best dive sight and the kids will love the snorkeling and seeing some corals and sea creatures."

The event forecast is set to provide some great racing for all divisions with varying conditions to suit all sailors and divisions.
