by Mark Jardine 31 Dec 2024 08:03 GMT 31 December 2024

Charlie Dalin on MACIF Santé Prévoyance has taken the lead from Yoann Richomme on PAPREC ARKÉA in this extraordinary Vendée Globe.

Sadly we had the fifth withdrawal from the race with 2020-21 winner Yannick Bestaven on Maître CoQ V being forced to retire due to damage.

We also have updates from Giancarlo Pedote, Séb Simon and Boris Herrmann.

We then discuss the latest tracker, leaderboard and PredictWind routing options for both Charlie Dalin and Séb Simon.

We conclude with a look around the inside of Conrad Colman's yacht during a maintenance tour.
