Vendée Globe Friday 3rd January Update - Escape to the Trade Winds + Ruyant's Hellish 24 Hours

Could Charlie Dalin on MACIF Santé Prévoyance and Yoann Richomme on PAPREC ARKÉA finally make their way into the South Easterly Trade Winds today in the Vendée Globe?

Thomas Ruyant has had a rough 24 hours and we hear from him, followed by updates from Nico Lunven and Sam Goodchild via audio, accompanied by video recorded pre-race.

We then discuss the latest tracker, leaderboard and PredictWind routing options for leader Charlie Dalin.

We conclude with a clip from Jingkun Xu, who managed to see in the new year twice!
