At boot Düsseldorf 2025, YANMAR Marine International (YMI) will exhibit the new electric E-Saildrive series ahead of its consumer release in June 2025, as well as its HVO-approved inboard marine engines.

Located at stand 10D40, YANMAR's renowned engines for power and sail boats will be displayed alongside solutions from the YMI Group companies: VETUS, MAXWELL, Flexofold, and Smartgyro. Together, the Group provides complete boating solutions, including engines, controls, thrusters, anchors, propellers, exhausts, stabilization technology, and more.

YANMAR's experts will be on hand to provide insights and information. Bringing common rail technology to smaller applications, YANMAR satisfies customer requirements for fuel efficiency, preventive maintenance, throttle responsiveness, adaptability, and reduction of noise, smoke and emissions.

Alongside the combustion engine on the YANMAR stand, will be the 2024 DAME AWARD-WINNING E-Saildrive SDe 48V series, YANMAR's first electric propulsion product, which is designed to provide an easy transition to emission-free sailing. With no hull modification needed, it effortlessly integrates into existing footprints as a drop-in replacement for combustion engines. This, combined with an integrated gear, motor, motor controller, and in-house designed cooling system, makes the switch to 100% electric boating easier and quicker. The E-Saildrive is available in three models - the SDe7 kW, the SDe10 kW and the SDe15 kW, delivering up to 15kW of power for sailboats up to 40ft LOA.

Floris Lettinga, Director of Sales and Marketing at YANMAR Marine International, said: "This is an exciting era for us as we bring new technologies and innovations to market. YMI's presence at boot Düsseldorf is unique as we exhibit alongside several other Marine Recreational BU companies, displaying our full range of on-board products backed by reliability and a network of support."
