A partnership has been established with the American Magic Team for a renewed presence in the American market and for technological development.
Two new product lines have been announced: super-maxis over 40 meters made of aluminum and pure cruiser yachts for sailing in complete comfort.
A great season lies ahead with a rich calendar of ClubSwan events for one-design racing, featuring the new ClubSwan 43 and ClubSwan 28 models, alongside rating boats.
The future looks vibrant for the iconic Swans, yachts that are always a benchmark in the global market built by the Finnish shipyard now part of Sanlorenzo.
On the first Sunday of Boot Düsseldorf, the international show that brings the world of boating to the heart of Europe, the Finnish brand's traditional season-opening cocktail took place, offering an opportunity to meet the press and enthusiasts and share important news.
The press event was led by CEO Giovanni Pomati, who stated: "We are working on various fronts, from refining the existing product lines in our range to launching two new lines that will complete the Nautor Swan offering, targeting two important markets where many owners expect to be able to buy a Swan. These include yachts over 40 meters that will be built in aluminum and a new pure cruising line for those who want to sail in great comfort."
Antonio Santella, Senior Advisor for New Product Development, outlined the core values behind the new product lines that will be presented and finalized in the future: "We are maintaining the beauty of the lines and working on protection, comfort, long-range cruising ability, with no compromise to sailing performance and, of course, sustainability, which will be implemented using various solutions, from hydrogeneration to other sources."
A committee for the development of new yachts has been formed, including the historical designer German Frers, Massimo Perotti and Leonardo Ferragamo. The Jüdel & Vrölijk Studio is now also part of the team of designers working with Nautor Swan.
On the same occasion, Pomati announced another important milestone: "I am particularly pleased to announce to this international audience the agreement we've reached with American Magic, a team full of talent in every sector. We needed a partner who shares our vision and values, and reenergizing sailing in America is our challenge, both commercially and technologically."
The programme with American Magic is diverse, ranging from a shared events calendar dedicated to the ClubSwan 28, with an American fleet to be launched, to the sale of Swan models in the US market, and the collaboration of technological solutions. This is particularly interesting when collaborating with an America's Cup team that is working across various high-level sectors, from construction to mechatronics. The transfer of technology from the America's Cup to the yachting industry is often discussed, and this is an excellent opportunity.
Terry Hutchinson, President of Sailing Operations for American Magic, explained: "At American Magic, we are driven by a renewed sense of American pride and unity in sailing. Our mission is to inspire communities and future generations to embrace the sport, igniting a passion for innovation, teamwork, and excellence. By applying the lessons learned in the America's Cup, we aim to position American Magic and U.S.-based technologies as global leaders in sailing innovation and high-performance excellence."
Federico Michetti presented the upcoming, very intense racing season, where the new 28-foot yacht will be the main protagonist alongside other one-design classes, with a renewed interest in rating boats.
The season begins in Monaco (March 6-9) at Yacht Club de Monaco with the debut of the ClubSwan 28, followed by an epic week of racing in Bonifacio (May 6-10) where five classes (ClubSwan 28, 36, 42, 43, 50) will race together against the stunning backdrop of Corsica's rugged coast.
In June, the fleets head to Porto Cervo, where the prestigious Yacht Club Costa Smeralda will host the Swan One Design World Championships (June 17-21). On the same weekend (June 17-22), the S&S Swan Rendezvous in Marciana Marina will celebrate classic elegance with spirited competition.
In July (24-26), for the first time, the ClubSwan 28 fleet will race on the serene waters of Lake Garda, in Riva del Garda, before returning to Palma de Mallorca for the iconic Copa del Rey (July 28-August 2) and the Swan European Regatta in Marstrand (August 6-10).
Scarlino takes center stage for the Swan One Design Europeans (September 16-20).
The season concludes with The Nations Trophy in St. Tropez (October 8-12) at Société Nautique de Saint Tropez, a standout event that unites the Swan One Design and Swan Rating fleets for a season-defining regatta.
The Rating Calendar also includes the Maxi Series and the five regional series (Mediterranean, Nordic, North American, Solent, and Asia).
