Following our paint teams meticulous sanding of the hull, Big Deal was moved to our paint facility early last month to begin the full paint process. She now boasts complete top coat on her hull and topsides, along with freshly applied nonskid on the bow deck. Big Deal has since been moved to the make-ready bay in preparation for her tower installation with Palm Beach Towers later this month.
Inside, the heads have been fitted with new countertops, while our interior carpentry team continues fabricating and finishing various cabinetry items for their upcoming installation.

With the Awlfair application and sanding complete on the bridge seating, our paint team successfully applied finish primer to the area, as well as top coat in the interior storage compartments. We are excited to debut the name of the latest addition to our Bayliss 64 fleet: Crisdel. She will be welcomed into a well-established fishing program and, after delivery, will kick off her fishing expeditions along the East Coast and Bahamas.

With two layers of planking now installed on Crisdels hull sides, our hull carpentry team recently celebrated with the traditional whiskey plank! Following the installation of the final plank, our team toasted the accomplishment with whiskey, pouring a small amount onto the hull as a gesture of good luck and blessings for the vessel's future voyages. This time-honored ritual marks the completion of a major phase in the buildthe planking process.

Up next, the team will begin sanding the hull in preparation for the glassing process.
