There were 40 solo skippers who set off on November 10 in front of a cheering crowd, for a race that will go down in history. They took on the raging seas their faces lined by effort and fatigue, amazing feats, joy as deep and intense as some felt sorrow, suspense, fear, many words but also a lot of silence, when humility demands silence in the face of the immensity of nature...

This new 52-minute documentary immerses the audience in the heart of this exceptional 10th edition, with exclusive summaries from the skippers, punctuated by spectacular images from the race course and informative explanations of the sailors' routes around the world.

The fierce duel between Charlie Dalin and Yoann Richomme, the revelation of the Vendée Sébastien Simon, the fight for 4th place, the trials, the joys, the disappointments... Each sailor has experienced their own Vendée Globe.

From the tenacity of Justine Mettraux to the sincerity of Violette Dorange, via the emotion of Thomas Ruyant, the wisdom of Jean Le Cam, the joy of Sam Goodchild or the resilience of Jingkun Xu, this film tells the stories of a race taken on by extraordinary men and women, all driven by commitment and passion.

With this documentary we are invited to dive into the adventure and relive the intensity of the 2024 Vendée Globe.
