After two consecutive events down under, this weekend marks the start of an American double header for Switzerland SailGP Team, with back-to-back events on the USA's West Coast.

The Rolex Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix takes place 15-16 March and kicks the American stage off. Just days later, the Swiss team will head up to San Francisco for the third time since joining the Championship and racing takes place 22-23 March.

The LA racecourse, situated in the port of Los Angeles, is one of the tightest on the calendar this year and it's the first time all 12 teams will line-up together. Racing in San Francisco will once again take place in the heart of the Bay, with the Golden Gate Bridge serving as a stunning and dramatic backdrop. With a history of strong currents and unpredictable winds it's always a big event for the fleet.

Fans in Switzerland can watch the action in Los Angeles this weekend live on Blue Zoom, along with SailGP's YouTube channel, from 21:00 - 22:30 CET. How to watch around the world HERE.

In May, the Rolex SailGP Championship heads down to Brazil, where Rio hosts the first ever South American Sail Grand Prix. A return to New York follows at the start of June, completing the American leg.

Sydney last month was a solid event for the Swiss on the water, the team narrowly missed out on a place in the final and finished fifth overall [after seven races], the team's highest position of the Season so far. The focus now is to continue building the momentum. Speaking at the pre-event press conference, driver Sebastien Schneiter said: "It's great to be back racing here in California. LA and San Francisco are very different race courses. Here we could get light to moderate conditions in a compact racecourse, San Francisco is probably the biggest racecourse on the calendar and there's much more breeze. Both will be very interesting.

"We've made good progress since the beginning of the Season and we're pleased with that but we're not satisfied and we want to keep pushing forward. As a group we want to win, we know that might not happen today but we're working hard for it. Of course a podium is always great, but for us it would be a mistake to focus too much on that or the results we have to focus on us and the process. This strategy is working well so far."

The high-tech, high-speed world of SailGP heads to Lake Geneva this summer. Fans can register now for an exclusive 48-hour pre-sale for the first ever Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix from 12:00 on Tuesday 25 March. General public tickets go on sale from 12:00 Thursday 27 March. Swiss SailGP Team is also offering fans the opportunity to design Sebastien's helmet for its home event.
