The NorthStar SailGP Team delivered a commanding performance at the Rolex Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix, securing a historic win in front of packed grandstands. This victory marks a defining moment for the Canadian team as they continue their rise in SailGP, showcasing exceptional skill, strategy and teamwork on the global stage.

In a weekend of intense racing, NorthStar battled challenging conditions and a fiercely competitive fleet to claim the coveted star-spangled wheel. Driver Giles Scott and the team executed near-flawless maneuvers both Saturday and Sunday to move into the finals where they outpaced rivals New Zealand and Australia to claim the event win.

"Amazing to come away with a victory! We had a challenging first few events, but things have been on the up in the last two. Kudos to the team who have been working away quietly and for not letting adversity get the better of us. Great to put a win on the board. Elbows up!" said Giles.

NorthStar's triumph at the Rolex Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix moves the team up one place on the season leaderboard for the Rolex SailGP Championship. From here the fleet moves up the coast to the Oracle San Francisco Sail Grand Prix next weekend.
