Fireball Class Training Day - Friday, 11th April, 2025

The Fireball Class have organised a training day with the renowned Adam Bowers, the day before the first event of the season on 11th April, 2025, at Draycote Water Sailing Club, near Rugby.

The day is ONLY for full UKFA members and is heavily supported by the UKFA to return value to the members. (Local membership does not count for this day).

The cost for the day is £60.00 PER BOAT, we need a minimum of 8 boats for the day to go ahead. (With a maximum of 14)

The fee will need to be paid, to secure your place, to the UKFA, via direct transfer - bank account details are below. Please use "Training" PLUS your SAIL NUMBER, as the payment reference (i.e. "Training 15222")

Spring Championships for the Thomas Castle Aviation Heritage Trophy - Saturday, 12th and Sunday, 13th April

Following straight after the training day, Draycote Water Sailing Club are hosting the Spring Championships for the Thomas Castle Aviation Heritage Trophy, kindly sponsored by Ian Castle and the Thomas Castle Aviation Heritage Trust.

The entry fee is £50 per boat, if entered by 23.59 on 10th April, or £60 (subject to PRO discretion) if paid on 11th April.

Both helm and crew must be full UKFA members except those at the home club where they may be local members

Evict the mice, find your kit, shake out the sails and come and prove the winter pies are not your undoing!

With six races over the two days you'd be silly to miss it!

The Notice of Race (NOR) is on the class website, and sets out all the initial information you need about the event.

The entry fees are:
£270 per boat if paid by 23:59 on 21/4/25
£300 per boat (late entry) if paid by 23:59 on 11/5/2025
£25 discount per youth entry (A youth is 25 or under on the last day of the championship.

ALL entrants MUST be full or Under 26, UKFA members

Your entry will not be confirmed until you have paid the entry fee, to the UKFA, via direct transfer - bank account details are below.

Please use "Nationals" PLUS your SAIL NUMBER, as the payment reference (i.e. "Nationals 15222"). Your payment MUST be received BEFORE the price differential cut-off times specified in the NOR.
