RS Tera ET Scheme is running for the 14th year © RS Sailing
RS Sailing is honoured to collaborate with The Eric Twiname Trust again in 2025 for the 14th RS Tera ET Scheme and the 1st RS Feva ET Scheme to facilitate junior racing classes in clubs across the UK.
RS Sailing and The Eric Twiname Trust are committed to getting young people into a lifetime of sailing, helping young sailors who might otherwise be unable to fulfil their ambitions.
Following the success of the previous RS Tera schemes, we have delivered, in partnership with The Eric Twiname Trust, over 300 RS Teras to UK clubs since 2011. This scheme is a fantastic opportunity for your club to buy an RS Tera or RS Feva at nearly a 40% discount.
How does the grant work?
UK-based sailing clubs can apply to get subsidised boats to use for the primary purpose of sailing training and competitive racing for sailors under the age of 18.
The Eric Twiname Trust will look at all applications on their merits, but if the project is over-subscribed, then the boats will be allocated on the approved applications received first, so do not hesitate to complete your application.
Applications
Clubs will be able to apply online using a form on the RS Sailing website, The Eric Twiname Trust will then confirm via email if the club has been successful or not. Please note that The Eric Twiname Trust will assume that the club has funds in place to purchase the boats on completion of a successful application.
