Laser .EPS class association re-launched

by Ant Clay 1 Feb 2002 10:18 GMT

Attention all current or prospective Laser .EPS sailors

We have just reformed and re-launched the class association with the help of a number of committed and keen EPS sailors from the UK and Europe.

We are aiming to self promote and encourage the growth of the class and bring back the top racing that this great boat should be involved in.

Our very first newsletter has just been published and lots of other information can be found at our new web forum at groups.yahoo.com/group/Lasereps. We can also be contacted directly at lasereps@hotmail.com

In the next few months we are aiming to produce a class web site and start the serious business of racing these great boats again. What we need to do to enable this is to be able to contact as many current or interested EPS owners as possible, find out what they are up to, find out what they want with the class and get us all racing together.

Currently we are looking at starting off the racing scene, debating whether or not to lose or relax the equalisation rules, trying to decide on appropriate race formats and lots more interesting ideas.

Please feel free to join the forum or email us - we look forward to racing with you all real soon.
