This weekend, come and visit the friendliest part of the RYA Sailboat & Windsurf Show, the Firefly class stand. If you're looking for some of the closest and cheapest one design racing, fleets across the country, a legendary and friendly social scene and all the team racing a sailor could want, then come and see why this twelve foot two sail dinghy is still making headlines in the twenty-first century.

Special features on the Firefly class stand during the weekend:

  • Setting up a club fleet - Need some 'pay and play' boats at your club. You've come to the right stand. Fleets of six or more Rondar Fireflys are now present at nearly twenty schools, clubs and universities across the UK. If you want to kickstart your club come and get some advice on getting funding, involving youngsters and families and making sailing fun for ALL!

  • Team Racing tips from the experts - Several of Great Britain's top teamracers, who all learnt their skills in Fireflys, will be present to answer questions on the most exciting and spectator friendly discipline in sailing!

  • Setting up your boat to win - Tips on tuning from the National champions, and a master class in wooden boat restoration. The Firefly stand is where you need to be to make sure your boat is the quickest on the water in 2003.
