Tempest

Tempest

The International Tempest is a two-person racing keelboat, designed in 1965 by Ian Proctor. With spinnaker and single trapeze, it is a thoroughbred racing boat, used as an Olympic class in the 1972 and 1976 Olympics.

Form meets functionality in Proctor’s Tempest. A lovely boat for a helm to sail, if you had a big crew and plenty of breeze, the Tempest was equally a very quick boat around an open water race course
