RS700 Nationals at Hunstanton Sailing Club - Days 1 & 2

by RS Class Association 4 Sep 2010 13:22 BST 2-5 September 2010

Day 1 Report:

F3-4, sunshine, the open sea and 34 700's intent on some keen racing. Does it get any better?

After two races, Mike Dencher is leading the gold fleet with Gary 'Ringer' Austin taking the silver. Duckhams award should really go to Stu for carrying a camera round the course but forgetting to switch it on! Fish and Chip supper watching various onboard videos, and Hamish replaying the race via GPS.

Pre-event coaching went well with 10 people making the most of Jon Heissig's words of wisdom.

Great first day enjoyed by all.

Results after Day 2: (5 races, 1 discard)
