Classic & Vintage dinghy annual pilgrimage to Roadford Lake

The Classic and Vintage Racing Dinghy Association makes its annual pilgrimage to Roadford Lake Sailing Club, near Okehampton in Devon, for 3 days of champagne racing this weekend. After sailing you can drink champagne too, if you like, but the local ales also prove popular!

This long weekend of sailing, camping and barbecuing has been a “must do” CVRDA event for over a decade now, so why not pop down with your classic boat (anything designed before 1965 and built before 1985 is welcome, whether wood, GRP or even aluminium!), your tent and some bubbly and come and join us?

Will this Weymouth event get the wind denied to the foilers here last year? Sometimes life is so unfair! Last year the Academy at Portland hosted the Moth Worlds, which ended up being a non-event with day after windless day precluding any racing.
